1985年生まれ。埼玉県出身。
日本映画学校卒業。2007年よりフリーの助監督として映画を中心にCM、テレビドラマなど様々な作品に携わる。

Gen was born in 1985 and raised in Saitama Prefecture. He is a graduate of the Japan Academy of Moving Images.
Since becoming a freelance assistant director in 2007, Gen has been involved with numerous projects mostly focused on film, though some have been commercials and TV dramas.
